When I installed I didn’t have a com.mysql.mysql.plist

The output of: ” find /usr/local/Cellar/mysql/ | grep -i ‘plist'”:

/usr/local/Cellar/mysql//5.5.20/homebrew.mxcl.mysql.plist

I tried the command using that file and appears to have worked. I have macports and fink and they seem to be conflicting with homebrew. Does anybody have any suggestions?

P.S. I have gone through about 10 of these tutorials, so I have learned how to do a lot, and what not to do.

Notes:

• rvm install 1.9.3 if you are using xCode 4
• Pay attention to what version of mysql you get from brew install mysql so you know what to change on cp /usr/local/Cellar/mysql/5.5.14/com.mysql.mysqld.plist ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
launchctl load -w ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.mysql.mysqld.plist
• I already have used teh tutorial http://maestric.com/doc/mac/apache_php_mysql_snow_leopard for PHP and MySQL, so I didn’t do cp /usr/local/Cellar/mysql/5.5.14/com.mysql.mysqld.plist ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
launchctl load -w ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.mysql.mysqld.plist, because I have a reference Pane to start and stop MysQL.

Sorry, I haven’t updated it for Rails 3.1 and probably won’t. The template seemed like a great idea at the time, but Rails and gems change too quickly between when I start each new project, and updating the template ends up not adding a lot of value over just documenting my personal bootstrapping procedure.

Superior thinking demonstrated above! Org charts in radial form will definitely have multiple benefits! We use org chart software humanconcepts in our organization to plan for succession, transition etc.
